Installation

Step 1

The American Tornado Master installation process begins with the delivery of your new storm shelter.

Step 2

After determining the best location for your storm shelter, we measure, stake the site, and begin backhoe excavation.

(NOTE: Prior to excavation, locate and mark all utility and other buried cables and plumbing.)

Step 3

Once the hole has been squared, leveled, and prepared, the storm shelter is removed from the trailer for insertion. Pre-welded lift points help stabilize the shelter while it is moved into position.

Step 4

After installing the lower unit, it is prepared to receive the upper portion so that once the upper unit is set in place, the shelter can be sealed and secured.

Step 5

The installation site is then backfilled with excavated earth and any excess dirt is hauled away. The final installation steps include the placement of the vents on the rear air outlets.

Testimonials

Testimonials

"In Nov. 2012 your company installed a shelter at my home. On May 15 my wife and I just got into the shelter when the tornado hit. It sounded like the world was coming to an end outside as we could hear it from below the vent pipe in the shelter.

When we came out, we saw the damage to the south end of our home directly across from our shelter. I have to say we were never in fear while in the shelter. I could feel nothing inside except a vacuum effect when the Tornado was directly above us. Thanks for a well-built shelter that I know protected us from the storm.

I have already gotten my money’s worth out of it, a bit earlier than I anticipated. We recommended your shelters to our friends in Grapevine, TX." – Larry W., Millsap, TX

"We purchased a below ground storm shelter from your company in March 2013 after looking at several installers and the products they promoted. By far, the storm shelter you provide stood out from the rest with your thorough, but not pushy, presentation and photos of your products and services and with all questions answered. Our shelter was installed when promised, and we are completely satisfied with our decision.

We have had to seek shelter this season on two occasions and are thankful we have it. Please accept our sincere thanks for the service and product you provide.

American Tornado Master installs a quality shelter, and we are proud we have one for our safety. It is worth every penny spent!! If anyone in our area is looking to install a quality shelter, we would be more than glad to provide a recommendation of your shelter and service." – Jan and Ken H., Muenster, TX

" I want to thank you and your installation crew for giving our family a complete sense of safety in our shelter, should we ever need it." — Cecilia G., Anna, TX
